Host
Shilpi Chhotray is an award-winning advocate, journalist, and media strategist, and the Co-Founder and President of Counterstream Media. Her work spans nearly 15 years, from global campaigns on plastic pollution to building platforms for movements that challenge extractive systems and reclaim the narrative. She is also the creator and host of People over Plastic, a podcast that ran for five seasons.
Executive Producer
Mindy Ramaker leads the podcast’s editorial vision and production—shaping stories, guiding interviews, and crafting each episode from concept to final cut. As Head of Creative at Counterstream, she oversees the brand, creative strategy and execution of its media initiatives. She is passionate about using her artistic vision and wide-ranging expertise to connect people, culture, and the arts to drive positive change in our world.
